Brian Hamilton is a chartered aeronautical and mechanical engineer with a wide range of management skills in project and change management, equipment acquisition, asset management and engineering support. He has an extensive military background and experience of military aircraft operations and support.
An experienced team leader, delivering strategic change management against commercial and time pressures. He is highly experienced in managing safety critical systems and change in diverse, multi-cultural environments. Dynamic, adaptable and pragmatic problem solver with primary focus on customer needs. Brian is a highly experienced fixed wing pilot, particularly in general aviation examining and instructing. He has provided consultancy for the UK Civil Aviation Authority in their General Aviation Unit where he led a number of projects including the introduction of targeted risk management for GA aircraft and a review of CAA general aviation fees and charges. He is Head of Training for AOPA UK and delivers their 2 day flight instructor seminars.
